Doboks

The Salinas Tae Kwon Do Academy members wear a traditional do-bok (uniform) for our training sessions that allows for freedom of movement and breathability. There are several different kinds of uniforms available ranging from cotton/polyester to blends of other materials; some are more flexible, some are heavier.

Instructors Uniforms

The STKDA has a color coded uniform system for easy recognition of "Who's Who" at the do-jang. Our senior instructors (3rd Dan & above) wear a traditional cut black uniform. Black pants and a black top. Our regular instructors (1st-2nd Dan) wear the same black pants, however white with black trim. Junior instructors are Black Belts who are under the age of 18. They wear the same style top as our regular Instructors, but they have white pants instead of black. All Instructors may have their names embroidered on their do-bok. Our Black Belt members who are not instructors but are preparing for Black Belt wear a regular V-neck do-bok which is white with black v-neck trim.

Students Uniforms

Our student uniforms are white pants with white v-neck tops.
